Sunday night, as the helicopter responded to a disturbance call on Otto Circle, in the South Sacramento area, they witnessed a female actively assaulting a male and related details to incoming ground units, according to radio traffic.
The air unit also observed a subject breaking out with windows with crowbar then discarding the crowbar.
As vehicles fled the area, the officers in the helicopter identified them to incoming officers who stopped the related vehicles and detained the occupants.
The Sacramento Police Department stated in their Daily Activity Log, “Officers responded to a report of an assault. The suspect assaulted the victim with a blunt object resulting in minor injury to the victim. Officers located the suspect in the area and the suspect was arrested for assault.”
