Around 4:30 Sunday afternoon, Sacramento police officers responded to the 7900 block of 48th Avenue for multiple reports of a shooting that just occurred.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers immediately started performing CPR on the victim until paramedics arrived. Paramedics responded and determined the victim to be deceased upon arrival.
