SACRAMENTO, Calif. – An investigation is underway after a person was shot in the Arden-Arcade area on Thursday.
Around 2:10 Thursday afternoon, Sheriff’s deputies and paramedics responded to the area of Watt Avenue and Auburn Blvd.
When deputies arrived they found a subject who had been shot. It was unclear at the time of posting the extent of the victim’s injuries.
A statement from the victim said he had been chased in the area of Morse Avenue and Lerwick Road just prior to the shooting by an unknown suspect, and had been shot by that suspect. A search of the area for a shooting scene and a suspect is currently underway.
