SACRAMENTO, CA – Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District firefighters extinguished a motor home fire Sunday afternoon on the Mack Road off-ramp from northbound Highway 99 in South Sacramento.
California Highway Patrol officials started receiving reports of a motor home fire on northbound Highway 99 at the Mack Road off-ramp around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. When fire units arrived on scene, they reported a well-involved motor home on fire on the off-ramp. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze by 1:40 PM.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No report of injuries at time of posting. Expect traffic delays in the area as fire crews and CHP officials clean up the scene.
