ELK GROVE, CA – Firefighters from the Cosumnes Fire Department were dispatched to a motor home fire near Elk Grove Florin Road and Sheldon Road late Sunday afternoon.
When crews arrived on scene they had a large black smoke showing from was was later determined to be a motor home that had caught fire earlier in the day on Highway 99 near Mack Road.
Fire crews quickly extinguished the engulfed motor home.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
