Sacramento Police officers in the downtown area were alerted by dispatchers that one of the department’s Bait Bikes were being moved. Officers quickly arrived in the area and arrested a male subject who was riding the bike down the street. He was arrested and taken to the Sacramento Main Jail.
According to SacPD, in the 1700 block of K Street at 12:47AM, “officers responded to the 1700 block of K Street regarding the theft of an SPD bait bike. Upon arrival, 50-year-old Paul Gagne was spotted riding the stolen bike and he was quickly apprehended. Gagne was cited and released.”
