The driver of a Corvette was killed and one other person was injured in a two car collision Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred at about 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of College Town Drive and La Riviera Drive, Officer Doug Morse, spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department said.
The driver of the Corvette was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
Exactly how the accident occurred was unclear and an investigation is underway. Traffic in the area was impacted for several hours.
