A pursuit from Roseville ended at a South Sacramento gas station early Tuesday morning.

Around midnight, CHP units were advised about a vehicle that Roseville Police Department was following on westbound Interstate 80.

CHP North Sacramento units took over following when the vehicle crossed into Sacramento County. The vehicle failed to yield to the officers’ lights and sirens, and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle entered southbound Business 80 and continued towards Downtown Sacramento. After reaching Highway 99, the vehicle exited at 12th Avenue and entered into a gas station on the corner of 12th Avenue and Franklin Boulevard.

The vehicle stopped, and CHP conducted a felony traffic stop. The occupant of the vehicle exited and complied with officers orders. She was then detained.

Another vehicle at the termination point was stopped and the driver detained because CHP believe it had been trying to intervene at some point during the pursuit.
