Just after 1 a.m. Tuesday, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting incident in 4200 block of Hackberry Lane in Carmichael.
When deputies arrived at the Carmichael Gardens Apartments, they located two victims. According to radio reports, one victim suffered a single gunshot wound to the leg/groin area and the other victim sustained a gunshot wound to the lower back and upper body.
Both subjects were transported to the hospital via paramedics in unknown condition.
