At 12:04 a.m. Thursday, the Sacramento Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard near 8th Avenue.
When crews arrived, they found multiple vehicles on fire at the rear of a commercial building. Crews immediately began their fire attack, and were able to get the flames knocked down in a matter of minutes. The fire was briefly threatening some nearby electrical lines, however that was mitigated quickly.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no injuries reported.
