Sacramento police officers were dispatched to the 7-Eleven store on Northgate Blvd. and W. El Camino Ave. for a reported shooting victim at that location around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
When units arrived, they found the man had two gunshot wounds to different parts of his body. Paramedics were called to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim was able to move on his own, albeit with a struggle, and talk with officers.
Officers took a report and cleared the location, as it was not the actual shooting scene.
