17-281550 (Shooting): 28th/J Street at 0234 hours.
Officers responded to the hospital for a report of a shooting. Officers contacted the victim whom had non-life-threatening gunshot wound injuries. Officers could not locate a scene but per the victim believe it may have occurred near 28th/J Street as the victim was walking home. Officers believe the victim was approached by a group of suspects who demanded his money at gunpoint. During the incident the victim was shot by the suspects. The victim self-transported to the hospital and the suspects fled on foot. Officers generated a report to document the incident and forwarded information to detectives for follow up.
