SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. – Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting in south Sacramento County.
Around 1:50 Sunday morning, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the dead-end of 44th Avenue near 39th Street for a reported shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found an adult male down in a front yard of a home. The subject was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Paramedics arrived to the scene and transported the victim to a local area hospital.
Deputies detained at least two subjects on scene. It’s unknown what their connection is to the incident.
