SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Firefighters are working to rescue a man trapped up in a tree, with the tree located in the American River.
Firefighters were called to Paradise Beach in the East Sacramento neighborhood at 5:15 PM Tuesday for the rescue.
As of 5:45 PM rescuers were still attempting to access the man, who was reported to be trapped 10 feet up the tree with water surrounding the base of the tree.
