At 9:11PM Tuesday, SFD firefighters were called out for a grass fire in a Parkway South neighborhood. The fire was spreading towards homes at the end of Clover Glen Way.
Firefighters quickly got control of the blaze before it got too close to the homes. One homeowner next to field said when he came home and rounded the corner he saw all the fire equipment then the flames heading toward his home. He said his heart jumped through his throat when he saw it.
