Sacramento, CA | A Sacramento GameStop was robbed twice in a week. May be related to other area robberies.
Thursday morning Sacramento Police Officers were alerted to a robbery at gunpoint in progress at the GameStop on Northgate Blvd.
Two suspects were apprehended nearby matching the description. The stolen cash was found and a gun recovered.
Earlier in the week, the same GameStop was robbed at gunpoint and the clerk was bound.
Tuesday, the Carls Jr Restaurant was robbed down the street from the GameStop by suspects matching the same description.
Officer Michele Gigante, PIO for the Sacramento Police Department, stated that the robberies are still under investigation and it is unknown at this point if the other robberies are related to the other occurrences which took place during the week.
