Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, CA | With an apartment ablaze, the grandmother drops her three grandchildren off a balcony to neighbors below Wednesday evening.
The on scene incident commander on a Rancho Cordova apartment fire states he’s very proud of his firefighters tonight. When the first in engine arrived they found the second floor apartment well involved with fire and a woman screaming “Save my babies! Save my babies!”
The grandmother of the children dropped them to neighbors below then two adults were rescued off the balcony by firefighters.
The grandmother was the only victim transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation.
