Sacramento, CA | Woman slams into a car traveling the same direction on Interstate 80, rolls her vehicle, is ejected and run over by at least one vehicle.
A fatal collision took place early Saturday morning on Interstate 80 at the Interstate 5 interchange. The decedent crashed into an east bound vehicle that was traveling at freeway speed, per the driver, and shoved that vehicle up and over a fence onto the interchange offramp.
The decedents vehicle flipped, landing on the opposite side of the freeway.
Per California Highway Patrol, the decedent was ejected from her vehicle onto the freeway where she was run over by at least one vehicle. The two occupants in the vehicle that was struck were unharmed.
California Highway Patrol stated that they do not know if alcohol, drugs or speed were a factor in the incident that is currently under investigation.
