SACRAMENTO, CA – Fire crews rescued a kitten from an engine compartment Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters from the Sacramento Fire Department responded Thursday afternoon for reports of a kitten stuck in an engine compartment of a car in a McDonald’s parking lot.

When firefighters arrived, they indeed found a kitten stuck in the engine compartment. After freeing the trapped feline, Sacramento Animal Services transported the kitten to the Front Street Animal Shelter where he will be medically cleared and set up for adoption.
