A Vehicle vs Pole incident shuts down Church St. Sunday | Roseville | CA cover

Roseville, CA – The Roseville Police and Fire Departments responded to a vehicle accident on Church Street in Roseville on Sunday afternoon. The accident involved two vehicles, with one colliding into a utility pole, after being involved in a collision with the other vehicle.

According to radio traffic, one patient was found unconscious and had to be transported to the hospital with lights and sirens. The condition of the patient is unknown at this time. Eyewitnesses at the scene say that the vehicle nearly went through a fence and onto the main line of the Union Pacific Railroad before hitting the utility pole.

The accident caused a temporary closure of Church Street, with police diverting traffic to alternative routes while the emergency services attended to the accident scene.

The Roseville Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the accident, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
