THIS IS A DIRECT REPOST FROM THE SACRAMENTO POLICE DEPARTMENT MEDIA RELEASE
On July 12, 2021, just after 11:15 a.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 3100 block of Occidental Dr. regarding a report of a subject who was found deceased inside of a residence. The victim, an adult female, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced at the scene by personnel from the Sacramento Fire Department.
Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded to take over the investigation. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation and there is no suspect information to provide at this time.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim after next of kin have been notified.
