Just after 5 p.m. July 6th, a shooting incident occurred at the Arco gas station located at Riverside Blvd. and Cirby Way in Roseville. Both victims succumbed to their injuries. Roseville Police Department is now asking for the publics assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle. Active incident

Just after 5:30 p.m. today, July 6, 2020, Roseville Police received reports of a shooting at the intersection of Cirby Way and Riverside Avenue.

Officers arrived on scene and found two victims with apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to an area hospital. One of the victims has been pronounced deceased. The status of the second victim is unknown.

At this time, it’s unknown if the parties involved knew each other. Roseville Detectives are working to gather suspect information. We believe the suspect fled in a vehicle and is no longer in the area.

There’s no current threat to the neighborhood. The intersection of Riverside Avenue and Cirby Way will be closed for several hours. Please avoid the area.

Update to active incident 10:07 p.m.

We can confirm the suspect(s) and victims were known to each other. We’re still working to determine the nature of their relationship.

It appears there was a confrontation between occupants of two vehicles. One vehicle fired shots and struck two victims.

The suspect vehicle is described as a gold or silver late model (1997-2000) Toyota or Nissan sedan. Possibly a Toyota Camry.

The suspect vehicle fled the area just before 5:30 p.m.

As previously reported, there was a homicide in Roseville on Monday, 7/6/20, at the intersection of Riverside Ave and Cirby Way.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene toward Citrus Heights.

The investigation remains ongoing but we’re reaching out for the public’s assistance.

The attached photos are of the suspect vehicle. Likely a late 1990’s to 2000’s Toyota Camry.

The vehicle license plate is unknown at this time, though please take note to the damage to the back passenger side bumper. Please contact the Roseville Police Department if you have any information regarding this vehicle.
