Sac Metro Fire crews work to free man's arm caught in a pipe.

Just after 10:15 Tuesday morning, Sacramento Metro Fire Department was dispatched to the 2600 block of Cedaridge Way in Rancho Cordova, for a rescue.

When Medic 64 arrived they reported that there was a person with their arm trapped in a pipe. Arriving fire crews got to work, trying to free the man's arm. Fire officials tell us the man was working on a pipe in the front yard when the water flow built pressure, and pinned his arm in the pipe. They were eventually able to relieve the pressure in the pipe and free his arm.

The man was transported to the hospital via paramedics for evaluation.
