A School Resource Officer was at Burbank High School and observed dark smoke coming from a residential area nearby. The officers quickly responded and found a residence engulfed and requested the fire department. The responding officer learned that there were two elderly residents inside the residence. The officer forced entry into the residence to provide assistance. With the help of another man in the area, the occupants were pulled out unharmed.
