SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting on Howe Avenue.
Around 3 a.m. Saturday, Sheriff’s deputies responded to an apartment complex on the 3100 block of Howe Avenue near Edison Avenue. Callers reported hearing shots fired, and one person being shot.
Deputies arrived and found the victim suffering from an aparent gunshot wound. Paramedics responded and transported the victim to a nearby hospital.
Witnesses reported seeing a blue sedan leaving the area after the shooting. At this time, police have not officially released suspect description.
