ELK GROVE, CA – A driver was seriously injured after their car crashed into a pole early Saturday morning in Elk Grove.
Cosumnes Fire responded around 2:00 early Saturday morning for a report of a vehicle versus a light pole on Elk Grove Blvd. at East Taron Drive with a report of the driver trapped and the vehicle smoking.
When crews arrived on scene they found a vehicle with moderate to heavy damage.
The driver was freed from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The cause of the crash was not known at the time of posting.
