15-256737 (Family Disturbance): 2600 block of Ensenada Way at 1115 hours.
Units responded to a family disturbance involving a firearm. The armed family member reportedly left with the guns prior to officer’s arrival. While officers were still on-scene the suspect walked back towards the residence and attempted to flee when he saw police. The suspect was taken into custody and his vehicle was found parked in the area, with two loaded firearms, one recently reported as stolen. The man was arrested on numerous charges including assault, threats, possession of stolen property and weapons violation.
