The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting that occurred around 5:30PM within the 5000 block of Andrea Boulevard. Preliminary information has revealed that a dark colored vehicle occupied by at least two people, fired gunshots at a group of individuals standing on the sidewalk.
One person, a teenager, was struck by the gunfire and has been transported to a local hospital for medical care. The victim is currently listed in critical condition.
Detectives arrived on scene and are currently seeking information on the identity of the suspect(s) involved and motive of this shooting.
