According to police radio traffic, the driver of a vehicle ran a red light, east bound on J Street at 12th, into the path of a south bound RT light rail trail. No one was injured on the train, however the driver of the vehicle had to be extricated by fire crews and was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Crews worked quickly to clear the scene restoring light rail service and traffic flow quickly.
