Sacramento, CA | Firefighters extricate a woman trapped in her vehicle in an early morning collision.

Sacramento City Firefighters and Paramedics, along with Sacramento Police Officers responded to a report of a vehicle rollover early Monday morning. The collision occurred at the intersection of 26th Street and X Street, blocking east bound traffic on X.

“She came through the intersection at a good clip and just caught my bumper” said the driver of the Lexus who was uninjured. 

Leaving gouges in the pavement as the her vehicle rolled on its side and slid, the trapped driver in the silver Dodge was extricated by firefighters and treated by paramedics throughout the extrication process. She was transported to the hospital, awake, alert and moving  and apparently with minor injuries.
