Sacramento, CA | An unidentified man is gunned down behind The Palms Apartment on Marconi Ave.
Sacramento Sergent, Tim Curran stated Thursday night that at 8:44 pm deputies were called to The Palms Apartments at 2421 Marconi. When deputies arrived, they found a black male adult in his twenties with a gunshot wound to the head. Curran stated that multiple casings were found in the area and witnesses saw three black male adults flee the area on foot.
Both the victim and suspects are unidentified at this time and no one from the apartment complex knows the victim or why he was there per Curran.
Witness stated hearing the distinct sound of three separate guns with over a dozen shots fired. The whole incident occurred in the parking area behind the apartment complex with one driveway in and out.
Curran stated that officers come to area often for disturbance calls, nothing more serious than that.
The Sacramento Sheriffs department asks for anyone with information to call in.
