The male caller indicated he arrived at a family member\u2019s home and located his family member dead inside.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Sheriff\u2019s Deputies arrived at the scene and located the male victim inside the home. During the preliminary investigation, deputies concluded the deceased male had been the victim of a violent assault.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators have responded to the scene and are in the process of conducting their investigation. Sheriff\u2019s Office personnel will remain on the scene throughout the night and likely into the early morning hours. Detectives have not yet identified a motive for this crime and have no suspect information at this time.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The identity of the victim, in this case, will be made available by the Sacramento County Coroner\u2019s office after notification has been made to his next of kin.   <\/p>\n<p>&quot;Detectives are asking anyone with information relating to this incident, to please contact the Sheriff\u2019s Office at (916) 874-5115 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP.
