SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) — Sacramento police officers responded to a reported shooting on the 1900 block of Railroad Drive just before 10:30 p.m. on Monday night. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male adult who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he is currently in stable condition with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
"There is no suspect in custody and no suspect description at this time," the Sacramento Police Department stated in a media release. The department confirmed that this incident remains an ongoing investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward as investigators continue to work on identifying the suspect.
