SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) — Just after 4 a.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of High Street following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found an adult male with at least one gunshot wound. Officers immediately provided emergency medical aid, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital.
Despite these life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries. "We do not have a suspect in custody at this time and this is still a very active investigation," the Sacramento Police Department stated.
