Shots Fired In Front of Hospital Emergency Room Entrance | Roseville, CA cover

ROSEVILLE, CA (PSN) — A man is in unknown condition after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound outside the Sutter Roseville Medical Center (SRMC) on Thursday evening, according to the Roseville Police Department.

At approximately 6:46 PM, Roseville officers responded to a call regarding a man experiencing suicidal thoughts. Shortly after their arrival, the male adult inflicted a gunshot wound upon himself in the hospital's parking lot.

The man was immediately treated on the scene and subsequently transported to the emergency room for further care. His current condition remains unknown.

"There are no other injuries or safety concerns at the hospital," stated a Roseville Police Department spokesperson.
