According to radio traffic, no one had been shot.
Upon arrival, patrol officers and K9 units began to take up tactical positions and assembled arrest teams. One of the department's Bearcats was brought to the scene for protection while a drone provided officers with a better and safer view of the situation.
Negotiators were on the scene, making direct PA announcements and encouraging the subject to come out. An Everbridge message went out on nearby mobile devices to encourage neighbors to shelter in place while perimeter officers taped off streets and sidewalks to keep the general public from entering a crossfire situation.
