Police in Sacramento are investigating a shooting and two assaults that occurred on Sunday, April 30th, 2023.
In North Command, officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 500 block of Wisconsin Avenue at 4:49 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is currently in stable condition. The shooting is under investigation.

In Central Command, officers responded to reports of a large fight on the 100 block of K Street at 9:31 p.m. They found an unconscious male victim at the scene. The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition. The incident is under investigation as an assault. #OldSacramento #SacramentoWaterfront
Later that night, at 10:55 p.m., officers responded to another large fight in the area of 24th Street and Jazz Alley. They observed a suspect actively assaulting a victim and intervened to remove the suspect from the victim. The suspect was safely arrested for related charges, and the incident is being investigated as an assault.
Further details on these incidents were not immediately available.
