Two Sacramento Police Officers have been transported to the hospital after crashing into a tree during a high-speed pursuit in the Noraltto Neighborhood of Sacramento.
The suspect vehicle was wanted for traffic infractions and led officers on a spirit reaching speeds of 100MPH.
The suspect vehicle was traveling westbound on West El Camino Ave. when the officers' vehicle collided with a tree at Western Ave.
One officer suffered a fractured femur and head injuries, according to reports, and the other suffered minor injuries related to airbag deployment.
West El Camino Avenue is closed in both directions between American Avenue and Edgewater Road, with the incident under investigation.
