COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE NEEDED
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives are asking anyone with information concerning and/or knowledge of the current location of Josiah Isaac Dempsey (18) and/or Michaela Jalizah Gospel (27) to please call the Sheriff’s Office.
Dempsey has an active Homicide Arrest Warrant in Sacramento County for the murder of Tommie Timmons that occurred on September 3, 2022, in Sacramento County. Josiah Isaac Dempsey is a black adult male who stands 5’ 8” tall, weighing 125 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Dempsey is considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS. Please DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONTACT, CALL 9-1-1 immediately.
Gospel is a person of interest in this homicide investigation and has a Sacramento County felony arrest warrant for an unrelated case. Gospel is a resident of Sacramento County. Michaela Jalizah Gospel is a black adult female who stands 5’ 2” tall, weighing 139 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. She has a small tattoo of the letter “T” on her right collarbone area.

DETAILS FROM THE SACRAMENTO COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
On Saturday, September 03, 2022, at approximately 11:02 p.m., the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call from the intersection of Trade Wind Avenue/Fulton Avenue, regarding a shooting that had just occurred. The caller advised a male subject had been shot inside of a vehicle.
Deputies responded and located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. Deputies performed life-saving measures while awaiting fire. Fire personnel arrived a short time later and pronounced the subject deceased at the scene.
Homicide detectives and Crime Scene investigators responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence. No further information or suspect information is available at this time.
The identity of the victim, in this case, will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after identification and notification of next of kin.
