According to the Sacramento Police Department, at approximately 8:06 am today, their officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 4500 block of 10th Ave. The victim, a male adult, self transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Officers located the suspect in a nearby residence and eventually safely took him into custody. The investigation is ongoing and active.
