What we know is, at about 1:50 a.m., shots were fired on the 16th Street side of Public House, adjacent to the MIX, at 16th and L Streets, according to bystanders.

Initial radio reports stated three victims were shot, one with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, under CPR. There were reports of a fourth victim who showed up at a local hospital.

Since You're Here

…we have a small favor to ask you. More people are viewing news from PSN than ever before. Despite our growing popularity, we are struggling to provide you coverage about what is going on in our community. Currently, PSN consists of a small, part-time team of volunteers who pay out of their own pocket to bring you news.

We have not put up a paywall because people have a right to know what’s going on in our community. We cannot survive on advertising alone because advertising rates are collapsing-threatening the existence of many local news outlets.

PSN’s unmatched coverage takes a lot of time, money, and hard work. But we do it because we want to serve our community and you deserve to know what’s really going on around you.

PSN obviously puts a lot of time and effort into bringing news, real news, to Sacramento. There’s no bias, no filter, no agenda; just events unfolding as you would see on scene. Anyone who is concerned about public safety should look to these guys first, it may not always be pleasant but it’s always reality. -Scott H.

If everyone who values our reporting helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as $1, you can support PSN and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
