Just after 8:30 p.m. Friday, the Sacramento Fire and Police Departments responded to reports of a vehicle accident requiring extrication at the intersection of J and 24th Streets, in the Midtown area of Sacramento.
When units arrived on scene, two vehicles were blocking the intersection.
All lanes of eastbound J Street were blocked off at 24th Street in front of Ricks Desert Diner.
According to reports, one person was transported to the hospital, via paramedic ambulance, Medic 4, in unknown condition.
The incident was cleared and the road reopened before 10 p.m. No further details were immediately available.
