CHP/Sheriff's Office/Fire responded to reports of a man down in the roadway in the 6600 block of Florin Road, between Lindale and Chandler drives. It was later discovered to be an auto vs pedestrian incident.
The incident occurred in the eastbound lanes of traffic which were blocked off at Lindale Ave.
The victim was immediately transported to the hospital via paramedic ambulance in unknown condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative with CHP Officers.
The roadway was reopened moments later.
