Around 5 p.m., a shooting incident was reported in the area of 3900 63rd St. Officers arrived on scene, but the suspect had fled prior to their arrival.
According to radio traffic, one person sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and another sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. Both were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
According to radio traffic, this incident also involved an abduction and there is an active Amber Alert in place.
Additionally, CHP Castro Valley tells ABC7 they are actively searching for the Amber Alert suspect.
