UPDATE**PALM AVENUE DOUBLE HOMICIDE SUSPECT ARRESTED**UPDATE
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives arrested Hykeem Marquis Davis (21), for the October 30, 2021, murders of Terrence Tiny Long (32) and Daron Turner (22). Davis was arrested in Fairfield, CA today, with the assistance of Fairfield Police Department and is being held in the Sacramento County Main Jail without bail. No further information is available at this time.

On Saturday, October 30, 2021, at approximately 12:56 a.m., our Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call in 5500 block of Palm Avenue regarding a shooting that just occurred.
Deputies responded to a party at a business with hundreds of people in attendance. They located three, adult males suffering from at least one gunshot wound. They immediately began life-saving measures on the subjects while fire personnel arrived. Two of the subjects were pronounced deceased at the scene and the third subject was transported to a local hospital in serious, but stable condition. An update to the call advised that four additional victims were also shot, however, they were transported to local hospitals by private vehicles before deputies’ arrival. Those victims are listed in serious, but stable condition.
Homicide detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses, and gathered evidence. No further information or suspect information is available at this time.
The identity of the victims, in this case, will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after identification and notification of next of kin.
