About 11 p.m. Friday, the Sacramento Police Department received a call from a subject stating he had been shot in the legs behind the church in the 700 block of T Street, according to radio reports.

When officers arrived, they found the victim bleeding behind the church in the parking area.

The victim was transported to the hospital, code 3 (lights and siren) via ambulance. CSI arrived to collect evidence and photograph the scene.

As officers and CSI investigated, evidence and shell casings were located in a walkway, between buildings, leading to the alleyway behind the building.

The Sacramento Police Department stated:

“Officers responded to a report of a shooting. The suspect shot the victim resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to the victim. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. Officers canvassed the area for witnesses and evidence. A crime report was generated.”
