All clear about an hour ago. No bomb present is our understanding. We will publish a detailed update when info becomes available.
Right now, the Sacramento Police Department has the area shut down off of Del Paso Blvd. and El Camino Blvd, along with Rio Linda Blvd. on the backside of the shopping center.
According to early reports, a Sacramento Police Officer was handling a domestic dispute call. When they came out, a suspicious package in a black bag was left on the vehicle.
At the time of this posting, portions of the shopping center have been evacuated, and the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit [aka Bomb Squad] has arrived on site.
