Just after 3:30 Saturday afternoon, Sacramento firefighters responded to 901 Arden Way near Boxwood Street for reports of a building fire.
When crews arrived, they found fire showing from the building, which appeared to be used by an auto parts supplier.
Due to the intensity of the flames, officials called for additional crews, eventually getting to three alarms.
The fire was reported by officials to be knocked down just before 4 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
