ORIGIONAL POST

Several shots rang out between vehicles Wednesday afternoon, according to police radio traffic, at the busy corner of 34th and Broadway in Oak Park, with many people milling about.

Two vehicles were shooting between each other then fled in opposite directions, according to reports.

As officers arrived to investigate and control the scene, a report came in that a shooting victim arrived in a personal vehicle at UC Davis Medical Center, according to radio traffic.

UC Davis Police taped off the area around the vehicle, which remained at the Emergency Department entrance of the hospital.

CSI responded to both scenes to document and collect evidence.

At the time of posting, we have no further details on this incident. We will post an update with confirmed details from the Sacramento Police Department as soon as those details become available.
