Just before 2am Thursday, Metro Surveillance Security received reports of a disturbance at a motel in the area of Zinfandel Drive and Olson Drive. According to reports the subject was attempting force his way into a hotel room.
After being ejected from the property, the subject was witnessed assaulting two females, adjacent to the hotel, one of which was an occupant of the room he was trying to force his way into, and the other was the mother of the occupant; according to a spokesperson for Metro.
Officers from the Rancho Cordova Police Department arrived on scene to take a report. Meanwhile, officers from Metro, located and apprehended the suspect in a nearby dumpster enclosure.
The subject was turned over to the custody of Rancho Cordova Police and was transported to the main jail with multiple assault charges.
The two women were treated on scene, for their injuries related to the assault.
